Welcome to our latest installation of our NE Cabinet Blog!
Our team recently completed a kitchen transformation in Lynn, MA. After owning their home for over 20 years, our clients decided it was time to refresh and upgrade their kitchen from an enclosed, outdated space to a bright, inviting and open concept perfect for hosting friends and family!
After shopping around at a few other retailers, our clients stopped in to the NE Cabinet showroom one Saturday afternoon and felt a strong connection with our designer, Sam, who helped them reconfigure their kitchen to open up a wall to make room for a large island, perfect for entertaining. He also helped them tackle an issue where an immovable pipe placement was pushing the stove out past the countertops. The solution: contour the countertop and add decorative posts on either side of the oven to complete a seamless look!
They chose fresh white cabinetry for their main kitchen, including the same decorative posts around the stove to also accent the wine fridge. They chose a grey cabinet for their island, which added yet another dimension of style.
Then they worked with our partner, Sarah, from East Coast Marble & Granite, on the countertops, tile and backsplash. They chose a smooth Quartz countertop, slate tile flooring, and a blue-grey glass tile for their backsplash with an eye-catching herringbone design behind the stove!
We thoroughly enjoyed creating our client’s dream kitchen, and they were extremely happy with the service, expert advice and overall experience they had with NE Cabinet & East Coast Marble & Granite. In their own words: “Everything ties in beautifully and (we) now have the kitchen of (our) dreams!” ?
